Color {my inspiration}

Color is and always been my inspiration for any kind of project I do. Whether I am drawing or crocheting....if I see a color combo that I love....I can always think of something to do with it. The other day while my husband and I were shopping at a hardware store I saw these paint sample cards....and right away starting taking some for ideas on color combos for my hats!

I have written about the amazing talent of Kamieo Photography before.....but have to write about her talent again! I had the pleasure of "meeting" Kamieo thru Etsy. She had purchased one of my hats and was kind enough to send me the darling photos she had taken.

She is an outstanding photographer! If you do not believe me, go to her blog to view the wonderful sessions she has done! She has wonderful "artful" ideas for settings as you will quickly see. And....her baby photos are just so adorable!! The way she captures those cute little babies is just precious!

I recently sent her some hats to use for her baby photo sessions. I have to keep looking at them! They are sooooooooo precious!

Yarn Stash Earflap Hats

I have quite a bit of yarn in my "yarn stash"....so have decided to add these "yarn stash" acrylic earflap hats to my store....and also will help in organizing my new yarns! These are hand crocheted in acrylic yarn. They are a "no frills" style hat.... each hat will be all one color with a contrasting trim and braided ties....and a very low price! I just got finished adding 2 new hatz to my store today! A flapper beanie with a double layer white crocheted flower and a brand new earflap hat, which features 3 different color crocheted flowers, contrasting color trim and braided ties. Both hatz are crocheted in 100% cotton yarn. If you would like to order these hats in different colors or sizes a color chart has been added for your selection.

A Nice Surprise for Arianna

Yesterday my granddaughter, Arianna received a "surprise package" in the mail from a wonderful friend of mine. She has a shop on Etsy, AmyRoseDesigns and is a member of EtsyBABY. Her shop is wonderful! Arianna is wearing an A-Line reversible jumper from AmyRoseDesigns. Both fabrics are 100% cotton with a Rick Rack trim on the bottom of the dress and fastens with two coordinating buttons at the top.
